Recently at a New Hampshire Problem Solvers Convention organized by No Labels, a non-partisan organization, Donald Trump drove his misogynistic ideologies home as if it wasn’t already clear to well-informed Americans. During the open forum, one female audience member raised the following question:
“So if you become president will a woman make the same as a man and will I get to choose what I do with my body?”
To which Mr. Trump responded:
“You’re gonna make the same if you do as good a job, and I happen to be pro-life. OK? I’m pro-life.”
The pro-life comment is another conversation, but for accuracy sake I felt obligated to include his entire response and the entire question that he was asked. The all-too-obvious concern in this response is the implication that Mr. Trump makes here that women inherently perform worse than men do.
